Sadly, Rough & Ready has canceled all appearances, including our Cavalier Cafe and Blues 2000 dates. We would like to thank our friends and fans for the tremendous support we have received over the past 2 years. When you combine four veteran musicians with a select repertoire of powerful, classic blues, the result is a high-energy, smokin’ blues band -- ROUGH & READY. From B.B. King to Koko Taylor to the subdudes to Charlie Musselwhite, ROUGH & READY plays a unique mix of blues classics and contemporary tunes destined to become standards. The members of ROUGH & READY have been making music in local and nationally known bands for years. Each player's reputation speaks for itself -- together, they're a force to be reckoned with! |

Singer and guitarist John Aspromonte’s versatility has taken him from rock to jazz to blues. He has performed with artists from John Lee Hooker, Lightnin’ Hopkins, and Albert Collins to Andrea McArdle, Robbie Krieger, and Sha Na Na. Credits include TV, stage band, and recording sessions in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. |

The band's innovative harmonica stylist, Ben Nathanson, reaches out to audiences with passion and a fresh sound. His fiery, expressive solos owe as much to jazz and rock as they do to Chicago blues. Some of the New York area's top talent has featured Ben as a guest performer. |

Holding down the bottom end, Glenn Govier infuses the band with his unique basslines and his R&B feel. Involved in a wide variety of musical projects for over 3 decades, the ‘G-Man’ brings it full circle by returning to his blues roots. |

Driving the band's performances with a solid, relaxed groove, drummer Dale Moore brings to ROUGH & READY more than 20 years of performance and recording experience. Moore, the band's newest member, left a hectic performance schedule in the Midwest to cut his teeth in the New York music scene. |
